CRISPY HONEY GINGER CHICKEN YOU’LL NEVER STOP CRAVING

This Crispy Honey Ginger Chicken is coated in a light, golden crust and tossed in a sticky sweet-and-savory sauce made with fresh ginger, honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the Honey Ginger Sauce

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten eggs, then coat them in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
  4. In another pan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  5. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the crispy chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  8. Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
