- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz (120 g) prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1 ball burrata cheese
- 1 cup fresh arugula (rocket)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll the dough into a 12-inch pizza and place on a pizza stone or baking tray.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and immediately add torn burrata and prosciutto slices.
- Top with fresh arugula.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with oregano and black pepper.
- Slice and serve immediately while the cheese is hot and stretchy.
