For the Chicken
- 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Cream Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Dip chicken in the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
