CRISPY PARMESAN CHICKEN WITH GARLIC BUTTER CREAM SAUCE

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Garlic Butter Cream Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  2. Dip chicken in the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
