Crispy Jalapeño Popper Wonton Cups – The Ultimate Cheesy Party Appetizer

These Crispy Jalapeño Popper Wonton Cups are loaded with a creamy blend of cream cheese, cheddar, crispy bacon, and fresh jalapeños, all baked inside crunchy wonton wrappers until perfectly golden. Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or melted butter

  • Chipotle ranch
  • Chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin pan and press one wonton wrapper into each cup.
  3. Bake the wrappers for 5 minutes until they begin to crisp.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, bacon, green onions, garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon the filling evenly into the partially baked wonton cups.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the wonton edges are deep golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Garnish with extra bacon, sliced green onions, and serve warm with ranch or chipotle ranch.
