Ingredients

Chocolate Layer

  • 2 cups (350 g) chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

Cream Layer

  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • ⅓ cup (40 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Biscuit Layer

  • 24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 cup (240 ml) strong coffee, cooled

Topping

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Chocolate shavings or curls

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, warm 1 cup heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour over the chocolate hazelnut spread and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone, chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until thick and creamy.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and arrange a layer in a 9×13-inch dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits.
  5. Spoon half of the chocolate mixture on top and spread gently.
  6. Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and chocolate mixture.
  7. Dust generously with cocoa powder.
  8. Decorate with chocolate curls or shaved chocolate.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.
