Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Creamy Taco Sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of paprika
Preparation
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet.
- Fill each tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and cooked shrimp.
- Drizzle generously with the creamy sauce.
