Luxury Smoked Salmon Canapés

Elegant smoked salmon canapés topped with a creamy herb cheese filling and delicate salmon roe. These bite-sized appetizers are perfect for holiday parties, brunches, weddings, or any special occasion. Easy to make, beautiful to serve, and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients (20 canapés)

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salmon roe (optional)
  • Fresh dill for garnish
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the baguette into rounds and toast until golden.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, dill, chives, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  4. Fold smoked salmon into small rosettes.
  5. Place a salmon rosette on each toasted bread round.
  6. Pipe a swirl of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  7. Garnish with salmon roe, fresh dill, and a touch of black pepper.
  8. Serve chilled.

Prepare the cream cheese filling a day ahead and assemble just before serving for the freshest presentation.
