Fish
- 4 white fish fillets (cod, haddock, halibut, or tilapia)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Creamy Mushroom Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 250g (8 oz) mushrooms, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Garnish
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Extra black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the fish fillets with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the fish in a lightly greased baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the mushrooms for 4–5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Pour the creamy mushroom sauce over the fish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
