Dough
3 ½ cups (440g) bread flour
1 ¼ cups (300ml) warm water
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Tomato Sauce
1 cup (240ml) crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp dried oregano
Toppings
250g (9 oz) fresh mozzarella, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Mix flour, yeast, salt, water, and olive oil until a dough forms.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let rise for 1–2 hours.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Roll or stretch the dough into a pizza round.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
Add mozzarella slices and a few basil leaves.
Bake at 475°F (245°C) for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
