EASY APPLE ROSE PUFF PASTRIES WITH CINNAMON AND APRICOT JAM

These Apple Rose Puff Pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious. Made with flaky puff pastry, thinly sliced apples, warm cinnamon, and sweet apricot jam, they bake into stunning rose-shaped pastries with crisp golden edges and tender fruit centers. Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 medium red apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 6-cup muffin tin.
  2. Cut the apples in half, remove the core, and slice them very thinly. Place them in a bowl with lemon juice and microwave for 1–2 minutes until pliable.
  3. Mix the apricot jam with water and microwave for 15 seconds. Stir until smooth.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 6 long strips.
  5. Spread a thin layer of apricot jam over each strip.
  6. Arrange the apple slices along the top edge of each strip, overlapping slightly with the peel side facing up.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Fold the bottom half of the pastry over the apples and carefully roll each strip into a rose shape.
  9. Place each rose in the muffin tin.
  10. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
  11. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
