Ingredients

For the Pasta

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter

For the Meat Sauce

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream

Topping

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and toss with butter.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Spread half the spaghetti in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
