Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp coarse sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice for 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and spread the blackberry mixture evenly.
  4. Roll into a log and slice into mini swirls.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  6. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
