Ultimate Creamy Mushroom Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients

Chicken Meatballs

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Creamy Mushroom Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Shape into small meatballs.
  3. Cook in a skillet with a little oil until golden; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3 minutes.
  7. Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Return meatballs to the skillet.
  9. Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve.
