Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20)
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- Pickle slices
- Salt and black pepper
Burger Sauce
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp pickle juice
Instructions
- Divide the beef into 8 equal balls.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Place a beef ball on the hot skillet and smash it thin using a spatula.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until crispy and browned.
- Flip and immediately add a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Cook for 30 seconds more.
- Toast the burger buns.
- Spread sauce on the buns.
- Stack two patties per burger.
- Add onions and pickles.
- Serve immediately while hot and juicy.
