This creamy homemade mixed berry ice cream is swirled with sweet berry sauce and loaded with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Rich, fruity, and refreshing, it’s the perfect summer dessert.
Ingredients
Ice Cream
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Berry Sauce
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Topping
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh raspberries
- Fresh blueberries
- Fresh blackberries
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine berries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook for 5–7 minutes until berries soften and release their juices.
- Blend lightly or leave slightly chunky. Let cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Gently swirl in the cooled berry sauce.
- Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours.
- Scoop into bowls and top with fresh berries and extra berry sauce.
