This Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Bowl is crispy, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. Juicy shrimp are air-fried to perfection and tossed in a creamy sweet-and-spicy Bang Bang sauce, then served over rice with crunchy vegetables for an easy restaurant-style meal at home.
Ingredients
For the Shrimp
- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Bang Bang Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp honey
Bowl
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup edamame
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 7–8 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Mix all Bang Bang sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Toss cooked shrimp with half of the sauce.
- Fill bowls with rice and arrange avocado, cucumber, carrots, and edamame around the edges.
- Add the shrimp on top.
- Drizzle with the remaining sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
