Ingredients
1.5 kg (3 lbs) potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups (500 ml) heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups (200 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup (100 g) Gruyère or cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup (50 g) Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a baking dish with butter.
In a bowl, mix the cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Arrange half of the potato slices in the baking dish.
Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Gruyère cheese.
Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
Finish with Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
